This site is dedicated to the memory of Sid.
Sid was born in London on January 01, 1926. As the clock struck midnight every New Years Eve a double celebration would always ensue to bring in the New Year and sing Happy Birthday to Sid!..
Sid lived 88 (almost 89) happy years.. most of his life in the Welling area infact the same road!! Sid enjoyed 60 wonderful years married to his dear wife Maisie who he is now reunited with...
He loved being with his family; daughter Jennifer and grandchildren Luke and Hannah and his other daughter in America Alison, Son-in-law Mark and grandchildren Jenna and Sara.
He became a bit of a "Jet setter" later in life and enjoyed visiting family all over the world!.. traveling to Australia with his brother Henry to visit their other brother Reggie and family, many times to America to visit his daughter Alison and family not to mention many wonderful holidays around Europe with Maisie and even went to Paris with Jennifer, Luke and Hannah last year!..Sid and Maisie had a fun social life with all their friends at the Dances! Sid enjoyed playing golf once he retired from London Transport with his great friends Maurice and John, always enjoyed watching his favorite football team West Ham play and always loved a good laugh!.. He was a wonderful Husband, Dad, Grandad, Uncle, Great Uncle, Brother, Friend... however you knew him..and will always be remembered with much love, fondness and laughter..Thanks for the memories....
